On February 23, after a longer pause, the tradition of the Scientists’ Breakfast returned. In an informal atmosphere with a cup of coffee and snacks, the Institute’s staff could get acquainted with the innovation process at the ISSP UL and meet with colleagues from the Development Department who shared some practical and helpful information.
Commercialization expert Ģirts Ozoliņš explained to his colleagues the steps to take if they had an idea and whom to approach. Senior expert Alfs Raudis described the plans for improving the intellectual property protection process and informed about the current cases related to the application of patents. Head of the Development Department, Jānis Latvels, told the audience about the Development Department and its functions in general.
