On February 28, at the House of Science of UL Academic Centre session of 78th International Scientific Conference “University of Latvia: Science for Industrial Development” was held, in which scientists and their partners - entrepreneurs shared successful examples in the development of science-based products and commercialization of science.
Opening the event, UL Professor Indriķis Muižnieks emphasized that a three-way cooperation, involving the university, companies and society, is the key for future intentions to come to life more successfully.
The researchers of UL’s institutes and faculties, in their turn, provided insight into their researches. Dr. sc. ing. Gatis Mozoļevskis, researcher of our institute, talked about collaboration with \\\"EuroLCDs” company, which was enhanced thanks to the support provided by CAMART², in the development of new products. Together with \\\"EuroLCDs\\\", an advanced technology was developed: the world’s fastest optical switch technology based on the principle of transient scattering LCD.
