Edgars Butanovs from ISSP UL Thin Films Laboratory participated in the "European School of Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies 2019 (ESONN)" in Grenoble, France from August 25 to September 14.
ESONN is a three-week course aimed at providing training for graduate students, postdoctoral and junior scientists from universities and laboratories, all around the world, in the field of Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies. The aim of this training is to offer young researchers a structured view of the principles involved in the elaboration and in the functioning of nano-structures, nano-components and nano-machines.
The program emphasizes the role of laboratory courses (half of the program is devoted to practical work).
