Exploring advanced nanomanipulation techniques

Young researcher Annamarija Trausa, representing ISSP UL’s Laboratory of Microscopy, attended the 9th European Nanomanipulation Workshop in Madrid from 17 to 19 June 2024. This prestigious event brought together leading scientists focused on the controlled manipulation of nanoscale objects using advanced techniques. At the event, Annamarija presented a poster titled "Challenges Related to Measurements of Ga2O3 Nanowire Bending Modulus".

The workshop covered a wide range of topics, including basic manipulation techniques, theoretical descriptions of manipulation processes, and practical applications such as nano- and mesoscale friction and automatic assembly of nano-objects. It provided Annamarija with valuable insights into the latest advancements and facilitated networking with researchers, industry experts, and fellow scientists.

Overall, her participation underscored the importance of ongoing research and collaboration in the rapidly evolving field of nanomanipulation.

The 9th European Nanomanipulation Workshop was organized by the Institute of Condensed Matter Physics (IFIMAC) of the Autonomous University of Madrid, SCIXEL, and the Institute of Materials Science of Madrid (ICMM) of the Superior Council of Scientific Research.
