Head of ISSP UL Thin Film Laboratory Juris Purāns, ISSP UL Project Administrator Jānis Latvels, ISSP UL Project Manager Andris Ozoliņš and ISSP UL Deputy Director for innovation Andris Anspoks visited the Brokerage Event Nanotechnology and Innovation in the Baltic Sea Region 2017 in Kaunas, Lithuania on June 15.

The NIBS 2017 Brokerage offered a platform for business contacts to industry, science and nanotechnology professionals who are looking for potential partners for business cooperation, research and project partnership to meet and talk to each other. In contrast to national conferences, NIBS brings together researchers and business stakeholders from the Baltic Sea Region (BSR) as well as parties involved in the cooperation with the BSR partners to share latest achievements in research, innovative solutions and applications in the field of nanotechnology. In contrast to large scale international conferences, NIBS focuses on the BSR, where the innovation potential from newest technologies is utmost high.
