ISSP UL takes every chance to speak to the younger generation and invite them to consider a career at the Institute. So, on February 17, the University of Latvia organized an online Career Opportunity Day in which the ISSP UL was one of the participants. The event invited students to participate in lectures prepared by the Latvian companies and institutions, thus getting acquainted with possible future employers. Other companies participating at the event: airBaltic, Rimi, Ikea, Circle K, SEB, Printful, MSC Shared service center, Linedata, and Tietoevry.
Career Opportunity Day is an annual business exhibition where companies present work, internship, collaboration opportunities, various activities and lectures to students and others interested in the subject. The exhibition provides an opportunity to personally address the companies, to get to know their representatives by inquiring about career and internship opportunities, company culture, required competencies, skills and job specifics.
